Safe and Secure Online Shopping

We are committed to your safe and secure shopping experience. Our shopping cart gateway is through PayPal. Log in to PayPal, PayPal confirm that your browser is running Secure Socket Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher, which secures the communication from your browser to paypal.com. All of your information is protected by SSL, which ensures that your information is encrypted so no one can steal it when it is sent across the internet.

Order Changes and Cancellations

All requests to change or cancel an order should be made over the phone with one of our representatives. Requests sent via email may not be received in time, and your order may ship. Please double check that your order is correct before clicking submit order.

An order that has already received tracking cannot be canceled. Please call us to set up a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) once your order has been received. Shipping Address is provided by PayPal from your confirmed address. The shipping address can not be changed. We can only ship to your PayPal Confirmed Address you’ve provided.

No Exceptions.

Order Acceptance

Your order has not been approved until you receive a confirmation email from us. In some cases, additional verification is needed before your order can be accepted. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at any time.

If additional information is required, we will attempt to contact you via email or phone using the information you provided with your order. If we are unsuccessful in our attempts to contact you, your order may be refused or cancelled.

State Specific Sales Tax Notice

We collect Sales Tax shipping to California.

For those customers with purchases shipped to the following states

  • Colorado
  • Kentucky
  • South Dakota
  • Vermont

We are not obligated to, and do not, collect state-specific sales tax. Your purchase is subject to state use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Please note that the purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. The state requires that a taxpayer file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting and paying use tax on those purchases that are not specifically exempt from taxation where sales tax was not charged on the invoice. Tax return forms are available on the state website.

Returns and Exchanges
In those rare instances where you have an item you would like to return, please email us at sales@ruggedtuff.com or call us at (714) 988-3303 before sending it back. There is an excellent chance we can resolve the situation without shipping the item back.

Return Policies

Items must be deemed returnable by Rugged TUFF. Not all items are eligible for return. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We will provide you with an RMA number within 24 hours after we’ve determined an item is returnable. To expedite the returns process, the RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the returned boxes. Unauthorized returns will not be credited.

All returns need to be sent freight prepaid. The freight portion of the invoice is excluded from the credit applied on returned merchandise.

All returns are subject to 20% restocking fee. Defective items are excluded from restocking fees, and will be credited or replaced at our option.

All returned items must be in their original packaging and include all instructions, paperwork and parts which were originally included in the packaging, and must not be damaged or altered in any way.

For returns other than defective items, Rugged TUFF retains the right to determine whether an item is in re-saleable condition, as well as the right to deny the return and credit based on the condition of the returned item.

Once we issue the RMA number, the return must be received within 14 days of this date to receive credit. Returns received after the 14 day RMA issue date will not receive a credit, however the item will be returned to you if you pay the shipping charges.

Provide the Rugged TUFF customer service representative with your Order number and name. When we determine that an item is returnable, we’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to you within 24 hours. Once an RMA number has been created, we will notify you by email with information on where to ship the item(s).

Once the item is received, it will be inspected, the restocking fee will be determined and we will apply the appropriate refund amount. You will receive an email notification of the credit transaction. Credits are typically issued within 5 days of receipt of the returned item(s).

For defective items, inspection times may vary.
